ABOUT US

This web site began in 2001 when a group of us who had never been to a reunion, began asking about the next one. As sometimes happens, we got the job of putting together the 35th Reunion. Long story short, we had the reunion two years later in July 2003. It was phenominal and memorable. Thanks to this web site and the excellent work of our search team, we located almost everyone in the class and the turn out was fantastic.

Since the web served us so well to get the 35th reunion off the ground, we keep it active so alumni can stay connected. All the work and ideas are donated, but it does cost money to keep it "on the air." We'll gladly accept donations to keep it going. Contact Kathy Parris to contribute.

Enjoy the web site and use it to keep in touch! Please remember that we will not publish or release personal information like addresses and telephone numbers. E-mail addresses are posted only with permission.

Site History

April 2008 — Coming down to the wire of replacing the old site with this new one. Fingers are crossed.
January 2008 — As everyone gets excited about Ann Crumb's appearance at the Media Theatre in January/February, I continue to tap out a site redesign. Without the message board, I'm counting on the Recent Updates page to take it's place. We'll see.
2006-2007 — Two years went by quickly. The site has continued with regular visitors and folks kept in touch with me for changes in their email addresses, moves, career changes and life changes. Sadly, we lost a few more classmates during this time. At least they are not forgotten. The message board became a portal for hackers and spam-bots, and I shed no tears when, in late 2007, the site provider upgraded the forum engine and I was clueless to fix the errors it caused—so the message board had to be put out of it's misery. On the positive side, it forced me to step up and redesign the site.
July 2005 — Once again, life's events take me away from keeping this site up to snuff on a regular basis. Thankfully, it does have a way of taking care of itself. I've added and updated some info.
February 15, 2004 — Okay! New site is operational and message board is public.
January 2004 — Life's events have taken me away from my duties to the site and I apologize for the delay. I've redone things a bit and I hope it works. If you have any comments, let us know. Happy New Year!
June 24, 2003 — Countdown is near a month to go! The Committee is excited. We're all anxious for our work to pay off! Make plans to be there - it's gonna be 'groovy.'
July 20, 2003 — Time is ticking and there's less than a week to go. We expect a great turnout! There won't be much going on with this site after July 23rd as I will be on the road. The site will undergo a huge makeover when I get back though, so keep visiting. Look for lots of pics from the reunion.
June 24, 2003 — Countdown is a month to go! The Committee is excited. We're all anxious for our work to pay off. Make plans to be there - it's gonna be 'groovy.'
May 5, 2003 — Countdown is only 3 months away! Plans are coming together. The Yearbook on CD is ready for shipping so order yours now. Gerry Hollinger and her group has been working hard to put together ditty bags and door prizes. Gerry mailed the final notice and questionnaires last week so be on the lookout.

Feb. 5, 2003 — One year later and response continues to be awesome. We mailed post cards to everyone we have found and things are heating up. Some classmates have already made reservations, the orders for the yearbook on CD are going well,
rooms have been blocked at a hotel and the planning goes on.
Dec. 3, 2002 — Lots going on! The Activities folks are hard at work planning the fun. We're taking orders for our Yearbook on CD, so those of you who have lost or misplaced yours, here's your chance. They're only $29.95 until February 15, 2003, after that date, shipping and handling charges will apply. July 3, 2002 — DRUM ROLL! We've set the date and the place for our 35th Reunion. On Saturday, July 26, 2003, we'll get together for a good time at King's Mill on Pennell Road (the renovated old Ahren's Lumber). Friday night, the 25th, we're planning a classmates-only gathering at the Towne House. Both events are absolutely casual.
June 15, 2002 — We are very close to finding the right place for the 35th Reunion. The Friday night classmates-only gathering will probably be at the Towne House and the Facility Committee is meeting again on June 28 to tour a few more places for the Saturday night Big Event before we make a decision.
June 1, 2002 — The Search Team continues its awesome work scouring every possible resource to find missing classmates! There are a few who continue to elude us though - if you have any info on the Most Wanted, let us know!
May 20, 2002 — The Facility Committee is hard at work (and play!). at a recent meeting at the Towne House in Media.
May 10, 2002 — The search continues for missing classmates and for special places to hold the 35th. We're struggling to locate some female alumni who have obviously taken unknown married names, but the list of found classmates continues to grow.
April 22, 2002 — Response from classmates continues to be strong and positive. Everyone is enjoying reading profiles. Gordon Ferguson and Curt Graybeal are taking the helm to find the perfect place for the reunion.
February 16, 2002 — New committee members are searching for places to hold the reunion.
February 4, 2002 — Response to the reunion has been awesome!
